Contact For Parts |
Ford Toploader was used in almost all production cars from 1964 to 1973.
A 1 1/16" input shaft was used in motors 200CI to 390CI. Larger motors, 427, 428 and 429 used an 1 3/8" input shaft.
The toploader came in three case lengths. The 1964 & 65 Fairlanes used a 25 1/2" case. The 427 & 428 Cobras, Mustangs, Falcons, Cougars, 1966 & 67 Fairlanes and Comets used a 24" case. Full size Fords and the 428, 429 Cyclone and Torinos had a 27" case. A 28 spline output shaft was used in cars with the 200CI to the 390CI. The big blocks had a 31 spline shaft. |
